After a year of uncertainty, Things are beginning to fall into place for another UNFORGETTABLE summer at Rhodes Grove!

We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has affected many in different ways, camp included. We plan to continue to provide Christ centered experiences that reveal God’s Majesty, throughout the remainder of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Camp is on, and planning to be held per the dates in our “camps” tab.

So, what are we doing? We are basing all decisions off of these guiding principles:

1: Trusting God.

2. Following, Federal, State, Local government, ACA, CCCA, and CDC guidance, and regulations.

3. Doing what ever it takes to keep guests, campers, staff, and volunteers safe.

How do we plan to do this?

Last summer we ran camp with 0 cases of COVID-19, following cohort groupings, daily tempurature checks for campers and staff, 2 week staff pre- screening, cleaning and sanitizing regularly, hand washing stations, masks upon arrival until  campers are in their cabin pods,  kitchen and dining hall regulations, and social distancing in all indoor spaces, including seating. As of now, we are planning to follow these same guiltiness as last year, based upon the American Camp Association guidance.

We are updating our guidelines and policy procedures as the government and CDC updates their regulations and starts to open parts of the state. We will work through every individual detail for our summer camp programming in order to ensure the safety of those who attend our camps and are on our property.  We will be sending information to those who have registered, and will be sharing new information in regards to summer camp, as we are aware of changes that are made by the state and CDC.

The leadership of  RGC is prepared to take the necessary steps to be able to serve our guests, campers, staff, volunteers, and church partners safely, while following our mission!  We look forward to seeing you at RGC this summer!

Please check back for an updated video, and list of policies and procedures!

Thank you.
