The Parenting Roundtable offers an opportunity to gain a fresh perspective from God’s Word and others that can help you rebuild, renew, or restore your family. This interactive setting will allow you to learn from others while sharing your thoughts to strengthen and guide every family represented.
Brad, Renee, and Sherri are not parenting experts but will be learning alongside you. They will bring practical ideas and Biblical context to light for everyone to process together.

Speaker
Sherri Holmes is passionate about helping families come together and learn from one another, with an emphasis on keeping Christ at the center. She has been working with children and families for over 17 years and has both professional and personal experience helping parents and families in various ways, whether it be individually, as a couple, or as a group. With a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania since 2011, she has learned a great deal through experience and by talking with others about their challenges and successes. She understands that every family is different and has unique needs, that parents know their children best, and that all parents need to know they are not alone. Sherri and her husband, Jesse, have a 9-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son. Their puppy keeps them busy, and they love hiking and camping throughout the year.
Facilitators and Speakers
Pastor Brad Mowery is a seasoned ministry leader, Life Coach, Human Behavior Consultant, and the Executive Director of Rhodes Grove Camp and Conference Center. With three decades of experience, Brad is a “Real World Parents” presenter who specializes in helping families bridge the gap between Sunday morning and everyday life. A devoted husband and father of three, Brad is on a mission to see the next generation rooted in the Gospel and families strengthened through the Word.
Renée Mowery is passionate about loving Jesus, her family, and those around her, and about helping others find the freedom to live abundant lives in Christ. Throughout her life, she has created groups for youth, college students, and single and married adults to find the joy and freedom that come from gracious, real relationships. Her vision is to provide a safe place for people to share, connect, find support, apply God’s Word, and build a more vibrant, life-impacting relationship with Jesus. Over a year ago, she sensed the calling to provide a place parents can find support and practical help as they share their journey with others. She works part-time from home as an operations manager for live events.
Brad and Renee have been married for 18 years and have 3 creative and lively children – two teenage sons and a 10-year-old daughter – as well as their sweet beagle, Harriet. They enjoy lots of outdoor activities, leading worship and doing ministry together, cheering for the Eagles, and building Lego creations.
